Pixel
art sprite design for my steampunk Rapunzel character (actual
size is on the right - more information below). This is the version
of the sprite you would see if you'd left the game idle for a
little while: she'd turn around out of her usual side-on view
and tap her foot in a cute impatient way. Spring 2007.

Scenario
With her
handsome prince captured by her over-protective inventor father,
Rapunzel must roll up her sleeves, tie up her hair and journey
across the world to find him. But first she has to get out of
this darned tower her Dad's locked her in...
Game Concept
Ideas
Set in a steampunk
world full of strange inventions
Gameplay:
a blend of side-scrolling arcade style gameplay with puzzles based
around the repair and construction of machines using tools and
components found around you. Designed to appeal to both adults
and younger people by using varying levels of difficulty in the
puzzles.
